Each year we work with a team of students to help bring fresh insights to Student Futures and help shape our approach to sustainability and green thinking. You may be involved in small projects, running student focus groups, research or writing blogs. To register your interest please complete the form above.
We engage with businesses to create Hackathons where businesses present our students with a sustainability challenge and teams of students work together for a day on a specific challenge. The engagement in solving ‘real world’ projects ensures students have access to external organisations build networks and also gain experience of working as part of a team in a supportive and fun environment. Carbon literacy is the knowledge and capacity required to create a positive shift in how we live, work and behave in response to climate change. A carbon literacy course covers the science behind climate change (you don’t need to be a scientist!), social equity and climate change, what you can do to act on climate change, and skills to communicate climate issues at work and at home.
