How to get to and around LJMU

Liverpool is a lively, welcoming city on England's northwest coast. We are famous for our cultural heritage and waterfront views along the River Mersey.

Getting to Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) is simple. By train, you can reach Liverpool Lime Street from London in under two and a half hours. There are regular and direct routes to many major cities such as Manchester, Birmingham, and Leeds.

The city is well-connected by motorways, and you can get to us within a two-hour drive from the Lake District, Sheffield, Birmingham or Wales.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport offers flights to many international countries. This makes it easy for students and visitors to travel here from almost anywhere.

SLB is on Copperas Hill, between our two campuses, on a purpose-built new site.
