About our research
Research undertaken by CCSE members of the Gender, Violence and the Criminal Justice System Research Group seeks to ask key questions about how gender is conceptualised within and across disciplinary and institutional boundaries, and how we can make sense of, and critique, punitive state responses to women's criminality and the equally complacent responses to their victimisation.
