About our research

Research undertaken by CCSE members of the Children and Youth Research Group seeks to explore the experiences of children and young people who come into contact with the Youth Justice System through processes of criminalisation and victimisation. We also explore broader harms experienced by children and young people in their everyday lives, such as risks faced in the online world. In particular, we seek to empower the voices of children and young people to understand their views.
