The Maritime Centre has an exceptional range of training facilities. These include a four-bridge full mission ship-handling simulator and an engine room simulator.

Alongside LJMU’s degree programmes, the Centre offers a variety of short courses and training opportunities. These are open to anyone interested in developing their maritime skills.

We also run annual Maritime Executive Training as 'Mastering Maritime' events that explore innovations shaping the future of the maritime industry.
