NTF/CATE Coaching Programme
LJMU encourages individuals who can demonstrate excellence in individual or collaborative academic practice to apply for our coaching programme. If chosen for the programme, potential nominees are supported to gain external recognition for their teaching as either a National Teaching Fellowship (NTF) or Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE). These external schemes are operated by Advance HE.
The NTF scheme celebrates and recognises individuals who have made an outstanding impact on student outcomes and the teaching profession in higher education (Advance HE, 2022)
Further information on NTF is available on the Advance HE website.
The CATE scheme recognises and rewards collaborative work that has had a demonstrable impact on teaching and learning (Advance HE, 2022)
Further information on CATE is available on the Advance HE website.
