Social media
You’re starting at LJMU, congratulations! During your time here you’re likely to be sharing your University experience on social media - here are some useful things to remember.
Social media has transformed the way we chat, find out information and share what’s happening, and it can be a great tool to keep in touch. It’s always handy to keep in mind how you present yourself online, just as you would in the real world.

We want you to have an amazing time at LJMU and using social media sensibly is part of making your experience as enjoyable as possible.
The University expects its students to follow the guidelines set in the Student Social Networking Statement and Student Code of Behaviour and Disciplinary Procedures concerning their use of social media and IT facilities: infringement of these guidelines is taken very seriously by Student Governance and may result in disciplinary action.
