Researcher Development Programme (RDP)

The Researcher Development Programme (RDP) is a set of workshops open to all postgraduate researchers. It is designed to support you at every stage of your MPhil or PhD and is based on the Vitae Researcher Development Framework 2025 (RDF 2025). This is a framework developed by the research sector that explains the skills, knowledge and behaviours researchers need today.

The workshops are run by academic staff, research and student support teams, or by external specialists. Below is an overview of the main topics covered by the Researcher Development Programme. For full details  and to book, see the eDoc calendar.

Book via eDoc

If you do not have access to eDoc but would like to join any of the session please email us for details and joining links. Professional doctorate students and staff are very welcome to attend any of the programme events.
