State-of-the-art facilities for sport scientists
We work in specialist laboratories on a wide range of equipment.
The recent £19 million invested into the Tom Reilly Building and further £3 million for state-of-the-art equipment, ensures our researchers are working in world-class sport and exercise science facilities. This has been supplemented by the Faculty redevelopment of the Life Sciences Building (£9 million) adjacent to the Tom Reilly Building. This facility houses much of RISES biology, biochemistry and molecular science research facilities and work.
The VO2 laboratory based in the Research Institute for Sport and Exercise Sciences.
