Research
We are a diverse department with a range of research expertise, including in US democracy, cultural politics, sports mega-events, nationalism and devolution, and non-western theories of IR. We regularly invite guest speakers, including experts and practitioners from the field of International Relations, to take part in our “IRP Practitioner and Research” seminar series.
We are also part of a thriving research community within the sider subject area of People, Politics and Communication (PPC), which encompasses three programme areas, International Relations and Politics, Media, Culture and Communication and Sociology.
