    • If the qualification is not taught in English or is an international qualification, students must provide proof of English language proficiency.

    Accepted English qualifications:

For international applicants to the course, visa arrangements will be handled by the employing service. Any visa application process will therefore be managed by the organisation employing the candidate and admittance to the course will depend on the successful completion of this. We work closely with partner services to ensure this is completed before commencing the course.

Further information

  • DBS Requirements

Students are employed as part of their training programme. Employers complete Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks prior to students commencing both their employment and the course; therefore, an additional DBS check from LJMU is not required. We work closely with partner services and have an agreement in place that if a student does not pass their DBS check, the employer will notify us.
