Introduction
Marybone is in the heart of the City Campus and next to the Avril Robarts library.
There are three distinct parts to the site – Marybone 1, 2 and 3.
Room types
There are over 430 bedrooms in total. All flats have shared bathrooms, a kitchen, dining area and lounge - which includes a dining table, chairs, and sofas.
Each cluster flat has six bedrooms and two bathrooms. All bedrooms have a washbasin, study desk, wardrobes and extra storage.
There is one room type at Marybone 1:
- Standard shared bathroom rooms with small double beds
Amenities
There’s a free of charge gym, games room and group study rooms for the use of residents of all parts of Marybone.
Other
The bedrooms in Marybone 1 are currently the cheapest available to new LJMU students. This represents excellent value for such a central location.
Marybone 1 is popular with Paramedic Science, Midwifery and Nursing courses. A 50-week (42 for Paramedic Science) tenancy as standard at a weekly rent of £85.00 is offered to students studying these courses.
