I have been working as a Lecturer in the Liverpool Centre for Advanced Policing Studies (LCAPS) since 2017, teaching on various modules including Academic Skills, Evidence Based Policing, Research Skills and SPSS. I am currently module lead for 7102PS (Advanced Research Skills), 5301PS (Academic and Policing Study Skills 2) and 4308PS (Academic Skills), as well as being joint module lead on 7120PS (MSc Dissertation Policing)
I am also a final year PhD student at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU). My research is focussed around the integration of the chemical senses (taste and smell). Whilst most previous research largely focusses on the peripheral and central mechanisms, increasing our understanding of how these stimuli are perceived and processed - my research focusses on understanding the psychological aspects of chemosensory perception and how chemosensory mechanisms influence perceptual experiences and behaviours.
