I have been a Senior Lecturer in the School of Nursing and Advanced Practice since 2022.
I began my nursing career in 2005, completing a BSc (Hons) in Adult Nursing from the University of Central Lancashire and an MSc in Advanced Practice from the University of Chester.
My experience spans various roles in acute care, including acute medicine, cardiology, critical care, and trauma & orthopaedics.
Currently, I am the Cohort Leader for the 0123 cohort and the Module Leader for the second-year practice module. I predominantly work in Undergraduate Nursing but also collaborate with colleagues in the Advanced Practice team and the Non-Medical Prescribing course.
My research interests include 'acute care', 'teaching and learning', and 'promoting physical, mental, & social wellbeing'.
