I have been a Senior Lecturer in the School of Nursing and Advanced Practice since 2022. I began my nursing career in 2005, completing a BSc (Hons) in Adult Nursing from the University of Central Lancashire and an MSc in Advanced Practice from the University of Chester. My nursing experience spans various roles in acute care, including acute medicine, cardiology, critical care, and surgical care.
I utilise my extensive clinical and academic expertise to support various modules and programmes within the nursing school, enhancing student learning. Additionally, I hold roles as Cohort Leader and Module Leader for Practice. My research interests include 'acute care', 'developing professional practice', and 'promoting physical, mental, & social wellbeing'.
