Rosetta is a lecturer and researcher in Adult Nursing with a nursing career spanning over 25 years. Throughout her career she has held numerous positions as staff nurse in Cardiac Critical Care & General intensive care departments, Vascular Research and Dermatology department. Rosetta held the role of clinical Nurse Educator for the Royal Liverpool Hospital; she supported the International Nurses as an International Nurse OSCE Trainer.
In 2021 Rosetta joined the LJMU faculty initially as a Simulation Tutor for the Simulation Team, in August 2022 was promoted as Senior Lecturer for the Undergraduate Nursing Team. Rosetta delivers high-quality education to undergraduate and postgraduate students, designing innovative courses, and ensuring compliance with professional standards. She leads teaching teams and fosters partnerships with clinical settings to enhance practical learning. Engages in research activities to contribute to the academic profile of the institution and advancing nursing practices.
Rosetta leads on the international Student nurse recruitment project which provides the international students an opportunity to study and practice in hospitals, clinics, gaining hands-on experience in healthcare settings. Providing academic and pastoral care to students, ensuring their success and well-being.
Rosetta is an innovating educator who strives to merge the clinical and educational arena to develop intra professional education, new ways of working and challenge traditional approaches to health care.
