I am a qualified mental health nurse. During my career I have worked across a variety of settings including acute inpatient wards, community mental health teams, care homes and primary care. I have experience as a staff nurse, senior community mental health nurse and more recently as a health and wellbeing lead nurse.
I also have prior experience supporting and teaching children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and English as an Additional Language (EAL) at both primary and secondary school level.
I am particularly passionate about reducing stigma and health inequalities in practice as well as psychological and complementary therapies.
