Professor Ian Jenkinson expertise is in systems modelling, manufacturing systems, and technical-vocational education. He has published over referred 45 journal articles, 1 book chapter, 23 conference publications, and has completed 10 PhD projects, and is currently supervising 9 candidates. He has a professional background in engineering and has worked extensively on innovation projects with industry partners in the manufacturing and maritime sectors. He is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET).
