Jennifer completed both her LLB and LLM at Liverpool John Moores University, and is now completing her PhD here also. Whilst completing her doctoral studies Jennifer began teaching at LJMU as a sessional lecturer, delivering a range of Law subjects across both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Since then, Jennifer has worked as a Senior Cybersecurity Policy Advisor at the UK's Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, and as a Lecturer in Law at the University of Salford.
Jennifer's PhD thesis and research interests focus on the regulation of artificial intelligence, including the ethical and legal implications of its use. She has presented papers at conferences on this subject and is published in this area. She has also acted as a co-investigator on the Greater Manchester AI-Foundry Project.
