PhD research completed 2022 - Opening up Opportunities: PGCE Secondary Art and Design Trainees' Experiences of Teaching Pupils Identified as Having Visual Impairment in Art Education.
Member of Edge Hill University Service User and Carer Group in the Faculty of Health Social and Medicine - this involves working with colleagues across the Faculty, delivering sessions on effective communication, visual impairment awareness and patient voice.
Passionate about working with stakeholders in education and health around developing knowledge and understanding when working with children, young people and adults identified as having lifelong medical conditions.

Member of Wavertree Blind and Visually Impaired Cricket Team.
