Jake Morris-Campbell is an award-winning writer of poetry and creative non-fiction from the North-East of England. In 2021 he was selected by the BBC and AHRC as a New Generation Thinker, and has gone on to broadcast a range of audio materials with BBC Radio 3. His debut poetry collection Corrigenda for Costafine Town was longlisted for the 2022 Royal Society of Literature Ondaatje Prize and Highly Commended in the 2022 Forward Poetry Prizes. His first book of creative non-fiction, Between the salt and the ash: a journey into the soul of Northumbria, will be published by Manchester University Press in March 2025. He has taught Creative Writing at LJMU since February 2023.
