This modern library brings together information materials via multi-media formats. This building also houses the LJMU Business Information Centre.
This striking building has won a number of architectural awards. Designed by Architects Austin-Smith:Lord, it is in the Mount Pleasant Conservation Area. It is named after Mr Aldham Robarts who generously contributed to the project.

Egerton Court
The Executive Offices are located here. These include: The Vice-Chancellor's Office, Pro Vice-Chancellor's Office (Infrastructure) and Pro Vice-Chancellor's Office (Admin and HR). In addition to the well equipped Roscoe Room, the Pilkington and Blackburne Rooms are located here.
A small visitor's car park is entered off Roscoe Street to the rear of 4 Rodney Street. A staff car park is located to the rear of Egerton Court.
This fine Georgian building is Listed Grade II and stands in the Rodney Street Conservation area.

Joe H Makin Drama Centre
Drama facilities for the Faculty of Arts, Professional and Social Studies.
The Drama Centre was created from a former Hebrew School building of 1856, with the generous support of Professor E. Rex Makin - whose father the building is named after. Located adjacent to the Unity Theatre, in the Canning Street Conservation Area.

John Foster Building
This range of buildings on the south side of Mount Pleasant houses the Faculty of Arts, Professional and Social Studies
Formerly the Notre Dame Convent and School. It is partly a Listed Building (Grade II) and stands in the Mount Pleasant Conservation Area. The centrepiece of the building is the former chapel with a slender spire (with the JMU bird weather vane), and with attractive Victorian stained glass windows in the apse.
John Foster Junior (c.1786-1846) lived at 82 Mount Pleasant which is now part of the Business School. He was Liverpool Corporation Surveyor from 1824 to 1835, and the architect of St Andrew's Church, Rodney Street (1823). As a student, he was described by Professor Cockerall as "a most amazing youth, but too idle to be anything more than a dinner companion".

The Liverpool School of Art and Design is based in this new purpose built Academy.
In addition to the School requirements, the Academy offers a range of corporate conference and event facilities for both internal and external clients.
The Café is open Monday-Friday from 8am to 6pm serving a range of sandwiches and salads, main meals, desserts and drinks.

Rodney House
The building on the corner of Mount Pleasant and Rodney Street was formerly the Ethel Wormald College of Education. The adjacent building is considerably older and is Listed Grade II. It houses the Charlie Robertson Centre which is named to commemorate one of the University's students. This building is in the Rodney Street Conservation Area.
The International Study Group and the Centre for Entrepreneurship are based here.
