Resources to support stress

1. If you want an immediate NHS approved online Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) programme that helps manage stress over 6 to 8 modules then check out Silvercloud using your LJMU email to gain instant access. 

2. Togetherall offers an online easily accessible platform to anonymously reach out to others via forums, carry out self-assessments and access to a range of self-help courses such as managing stress and worry, problem solving, improving sleep and assertiveness, all of which can help reduce stress.

3. Stress can occur because of several different triggers and stressors. Some people find relaxation can help alleviate some of the tension that builds due to stress, therefore you may want to check out the relaxation and meditation section for some ideas available via the main Wellbeing Hub page.

4. What's more when stressed alcohol and drug use can increase.

Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
